The Inclusive Violence and Crime Prevention Programme (GIZ-VCP) is a partnership programme agreed to between the Governments of South Africa and Germany, contributing to the national development priority of creating a safer South Africa. The Covid-19 pandemic has amplified the consequences of inequality and poverty for many communities in South Africa. These factors may weaken their social cohesion and increase their risk factors for involvement in violence and crime. Within this context, GIZ-VCP, in coordination with its government partners is embarking on a new measure to support the up-scaling of area-based interventions that promote violence and crime prevention.
To become part of this intervention, we would like to request interested local municipalities and/ or interested civil society organizations to fill out the attached template of Expression of Interest (EoI) before the 25th of September and send it directly to directly Thomas.firstname.lastname@example.org and Sarah.email@example.com.
For more information, please read the project description in the EoI or contact directly Thomas.firstname.lastname@example.org or Sarah.email@example.com.
