Description
This book focuses on a selection of laws that affect children and examines whether they have been designed in compliance with international and constitutional law. With a few notable exceptions, South Africa's challenge generally does not lie in the design of the laws, but in the management, co-ordination and implementation of services required by the laws. For this reason, focus is not only on the content of the laws but also to assess what is happening at implementation level.
