This publication captures the main highlights, conclusions and learning outcomes of the event “Reimagining Public Spaces” that was held from the 4th-6th of June 2014 in Durban-eThekwini, South Africa. The aim of the publication is to demonstrate the benefit of learning exchanges between municipal, regional and international practitioners and to stimulate the debate in rethinking and reimagining public spaces in Africa.
