Description
The main purpose of this study was to understand how community prosecution might work in a South African context since it had only been modelled in Europe and the United States. To this end, nine sites were selected by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) for piloting although one site was inactive between the time of the baseline study and the evaluation (Phuthanang, as explained in Chapter 7).
