The VISION of the Network is to actively promote peace and development not only in the Western Cape, but in South Africa, by contributing to the building of: “Peaceful, Empowered, Cohesive Communities.”
Description
The network members share common values, including: empowerment; youth development; peace-building; conflict management; democracy; sustainable development; human dignity; diversity; integrity; transparency; accountability and non-discrimination as the binding principles and provides a platform for the network to work together to reach common goals.
General Information
Since its initiation in 2005, the Network has grown from strength to strength and consist today of 40 NGO’s, all working in the field of conflict resolution, youth, women, community development and peace building and sport.
We are also collaborating with a similiar network in Bavaria/Germany: "Eine Welt Netzwerk Bayern" www.eineweltnetzbayern.de
