GenderWorks seeks to transform gender and sexuality injustice and build compassionate relations between all genders through implementing Gender Reconciliation programmes in South Africa, and in Southern African communities. Gender Reconciliation fosters new levels of sensitivity and mutual awareness of gender conditioning, and cultivating respectful and authentic dialogue on sensitive gender issues among beneficiary communities.

Our Mission: Transforming and healing gender relations and gender violence in South and Southern Africa by raising consciousness around gender conditioning, beliefs and attitudes; and building interconnectedness across diverse communities, through creating safe environments for dialogue, stories, and witnessing among genders.
