My motivation to join SaferSpaces:

I am currently working on the topic of violence and social cohesion. In fact, since 2013 I have been doing research in many cities (chiefly Cape Town) on various topics around violence. These include gangsterism, the role of grassroots structures in making townships safer, and many more.
