My motivation to join SaferSpaces:

As a contributing author to the 2016 White Paper on Safety and Security, I am very interested to see how crime and violence prevention initiatives in South Africa evolve in light of recent developments in the policy and legislative architecture around community safety. Of particular interest to me is bridging the gap between policy and programming, and to ensure that implementation is consistent with the visions of our laws and policies.
