Beth Amato – Practitioners

My motivation to join SaferSpaces:

The Social Justice Initiative has created a violence prevention and safety consortium comprised of 9 civil society organisations. The SJI raises funds for this sector to make it more sustainable. We take the dense and fascinating research from our consortium members and make it readable for the public. We would like to share stories/blog posts/features on the site and to get more information to make our work more insightful.

I'm working in these sectors:
Civil society and community based organisations
I'm specialising in these topics:
General / Other, Children, Family / Parenting

The root causes of violence, especially early childhood traumas and negative parenting experiences.
