SaferSpaces is pleased to invite you to a webinar entitled “Designing in Community Safety”. This online panel discussion will be held on Friday, 5 February 2021, from 12.45pm to 2pm on MS Teams. This webinar will explore how various innovative design features and interventions can improve community safety.

The webinar is the second in a series of 10 seminar hosted by SaferSpaces that will explore the key elements of South Africa’s White Paper on Safety and Security, and how such elements can be more effectively implemented. The first six webinars will therefore focus on the core pillars of the Draft Integrated Crime and Violence Prevention Strategy (ICVPS) as the strategy document outlining the implementation of the WPSS. Participants' discussions will be consolidated to input into the ongoing public consultation on this strategy. More information on the ICVPS can be found here
