Cape Flats Soccer Development is an independent soccer coaching service providing structure aimed at creating a social drug free environment of mass participation in all forms of this beautiful game we call soccer.

What we do

Cape Flats Soccer Development is an independent soccer coaching service providing structure. It was formed by Coach Sadick Da Silva assisted by executives and volunteer coaches in the Western Cape.The C.F.S.D. was formed in 2003 to create a social drug free environment of mass participation in all forms of this beautiful game we call soccer. Our emphasis is on development in a proper pyramid structure for all age groups from Junior local to Senior professional. We provide services of running Individuals, small groups, schools, teams and associates coaching clinics.

Techniques and drills use are uniquely design to suite your needs after a monitoring and evaluating assessment. C.F.S.D. do not decline any person / group on current performance or their soccer ability. We pride ourselves by ensuring improvement to those using our services. Winning is not the ultimate in learning, but learning how to win creates winning teams. C.F.S.D also provides services to other recreational sports codes by connecting you with the right people.

How we do it

We currently servicing 12 communities in the Western Cape ( Langa, Bonteheuwel, Heideveld, Gugulethu, Athlone, Manenberg, Thambo Village,Phillipi, Samora Marcel, Delft, Mitchells Plain, Khayelitsha ). These areas have over 4000 Youth 4 - 19yrs playing informal soccer within their communities.

It is our goal to empower them with securing and redistributing resources to help with the upliftment of their communities. This however is only possible if all the role players (Sports Councils, Councillors, Social Development, The Department of Sports and Recreation and the Cooperate Business ) work towards one common goal. 

Our Partners and associate members are: Niche Communications UK., Nike South Africa, GIZ, SSCN (Sport for Social Change Network) Southern Africa, Altus Sports, Hoop 4 Hope, Grassroots Soccer, Football for Hope, Street Football World, Mikes Sport, Arise Business Network and all SSCN Network Members.
